Collection Database #4
Record 301-421
Collection Database #5
Record 422-472
These two databases were built as part of the PhDIA (PhD Initiative Award), a research grant I received from the University of the Philippines Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development. The research was also titled "Sonic Manila Research: Archiving of Sound Art Practice in the Philippines", because the intention is to continue working on this archiving; with the hope that the records gathered will inform present practice and scholarship in the Philippines or at least in major cities in the country. The research was conducted from July 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023. Although coming from one funding source, the database were divided into two, just to identify the materials gathered by the Research Assistants (Lui Tan and Tricia Caisip)-- CD #4, and those that were from me-- CD#5. More information about PhDIA, including the curatorial trajectory it birthed, on Spotlight later.
